Two NSW law enforcement officials have been stood down after a disturbing picture emerged of them showing to level their weapons at one another over social media.
The picture, apparently from social media app BeReal, reveals one officer holding his weapon to his head whereas a feminine colleague takes purpose.
The image, which was circulating extensively on Tuesday, seems to have been shot in a Sydney police station.
It’s thought to have come from BeReal, a social media app that encourages customers to share unfiltered random snaps of their lives every day. Pictures are usually restricted to mates and contacts, however settings will also be made public.
The 2 officers have been caught out after their image was shared from the platform. It revealed the obvious misuse of their weapons whereas the officers have been at work and in uniform.
In it, the feminine officer might be seen smiling as she goals her weapon on the male workplace. He factors his gun at himself.
NSW Police confirmed an inside investigation had been launched after the put up started circulating extensively on-line. The officers had been recognized and their firearms “secured”, a spokeswoman stated.
