A person is useless and one other has been rushed to hospital after a beach emergency in NSW.
Emergency providers have been known as to New Brighton Seashore, south of Byron Bay, to report a person was unresponsive after being dragged to shore about 1pm on Monday.
Surf lifesavers and an off-duty nurse acquired the person out of the surf and carried out CPR till ambulance paramedics arrived.

The 27-year-old couldn’t be revived.
A second man, aged 28, collapsed after being pulled from the water and has been taken to Tweed Hospital in a secure situation.
A report shall be ready for the data of the coroner.
