Two jockey-less racehorses ran amok on the Gold Coast on Tuesday, bringing visitors to a standstill and making a spectacle on the streets after escaping an occasion.
The thoroughbreds have been a part of a Magic Thousands and thousands promotional seashore race for the annual showcase.
As a whole bunch of onlookers watched the occasion on the sand at Surfers Paradise, the 2 horses took the chance to bolt from the scene.
Footage reveals the escapees — decked out of their racing finery — exiting the seashore space, crossing a pedestrian footpath and galloping away.
With the wind of their manes, the equines trotted up the unsuitable aspect of the highway into oncoming visitors which was compelled to cease.
They crossed the tramline and weaved by means of residential areas.

Journalist Paul Syvret took photographs of the good-looking animals — one brown and one black — sneaking previous houses.
“Not fairly the conventional visitors in our ‘hood’,” he wrote on Twitter.
