A hearth has severely broken a Buddhist temple in southeastern Melbourne.
About 80 firefighters battled the blaze on the Brilliant Moon Buddhist Temple in Springvale South on Sunday night.
“Crews had been referred to as to the place of worship in Springvale Street round 8pm and arrived to seek out a big multi-storey constructing ablaze,” Hearth Rescue Victoria stated.
Emergency authorities suggested residents within the surrounding space to stay indoors, shut doorways and home windows and switch off heating and cooling techniques.
Hearth crews stated the blaze was underneath management at 10.35pm.
