Ex-union legal adviser to head up new workplace umpire

A senior barrister and former union chief authorized adviser has been appointed to move the Honest Work Fee.

Adam Hatcher SC has been appearing president of the fee for the previous three months, having been vp of the economic umpire since 2013.

He has additionally been appointed to the Federal Courtroom.

Office Relations Minister Tony Burke mentioned Mr Hatcher would convey in depth expertise to the function.
