Guns, drugs and ammo worth $1 million allegedly seized in dramatic Queensland raid in Mount Elliot Drive in Alligator Creek, near Townsville

A Queensland man has been arrested and allegedly unlawful objects value nearly $1 million have been seized in a dramatic finish to a five-month police operation.

The objects allegedly included greater than $118,000 in money, 13 firearms, a amount of unlawful prescription drugs, greater than 1g of cocaine, a amount of ammunition and greater than 800g of methamphetamine.

The haul, with an estimated avenue worth of about $800,000, was allegedly uncovered throughout a raid on a property in Mount Elliot Drive in Alligator Creek, close to Townsvilleon Friday February 24.

The raid adopted a five-month operation.

A 32-year-old Alligator Creek man was charged with 4 counts every of illegal possession firearms and possessing S4/S8 medicine, three counts every of possessing harmful medicine (together with one main possession) and receiving stolen property and one depend every of unlawfully possessing explosives (ammunition), possessing issues used within the fee of an offense, possessing utensils and possessing tainted property.

He was remanded in custody to re-appear within the Townsville Magistrates Courtroom on April 14.

The investigation is ongoing.
