Shoplifting and automotive theft in NSW have surged, returning to pre-pandemic ranges after a two-year decline.
Shoplifting elevated by 17 p.c whereas automotive theft jumped by 23.7 p.c over the previous two years, in response to a NSW Bureau of Crime Statistics and Analysis report revealed on Thursday.
