A Russian flag has been found painted on the bottom of Denmark’s Little Mermaid statue in what police say is a “case of vandalism” at Copenhagen’s most well-known landmark and a preferred vacationer attraction.
It was not instantly identified who was behind the incident, a police spokesperson mentioned on Thursday.
