At the very least 16 folks have been killed after a fireplace broke out at a gasoline storage station operated by Indonesia’s state vitality firm Pertamina within the capital Jakarta, an official on the metropolis’s primary firefighting unit says.
The fireplace, which began after 8pm on Friday, burned some homes and despatched close by residents within the densely populated areas right into a panic, a few of whom fled with their belongings, footage from broadcasters confirmed.
