North Korea test-fires cruise missiles from submarine

North Korea has fired two missiles from a submarine, hanging an underwater goal, state information company KCNA reviews.

South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Workers mentioned the navy was on excessive alert and the nation’s intelligence company was working with its United States counterpart to investigate the specifics of the launch.

KCNA mentioned an underwater launching drill of strategic cruise missiles was staged within the early hours of Sunday, throughout which the 8.24 Yongung submarine launched two strategic cruise missiles within the water off the east coast of Korea.

The missiles traveled some 1500 kilometers earlier than hitting a goal within the sea, the KCNA report mentioned.
