The detective sergeant in control of the investigation into an alleged multimillion-dollar gold scheme admitted he made an “error” through the investigation that speaks to the “essence” of the entire case — whether or not or not two males had their boss’ permission to make use of a pile of gold-bearing ore.
On Thursday — day eight of the District Courtroom trial in Kalgoorlie — Det. Sgt Christopher King was questioned in regards to the working of the investigation into 5 individuals accused of collaborating in a gold swindle which included theft, cash laundering and fraud.
