On Saturday, the Nation Fireplace Authority issued a Watch and Act alerts for a hearth burning close to Jap View and one other at Kennett River, about 44 kilometers away.

The message is for residents in Huge Hill, Jap View, Memorial Arch, Moggs Creek and Kennett River.
