Optometrist takes Gwyneth Paltrow to trial over 2016 ski crash

Gwyneth Paltrow is about to face trial in a lawsuit filed by a person who says the actor-turned-lifestyle influencer violently crashed into him in 2016 whereas snowboarding in an upscale resort in Utah.

Retired optometrist Terry Sanderson, 76, says Paltrow was cruising down the slopes so recklessly that they collided, leaving him on the bottom as she and her entourage continued their descent down Deer Valley Resort.

“Gwyneth Paltrow skied uncontrolled,” Sanderson’s legal professionals declare within the lawsuit, “knocking him down arduous, knocking him out, and inflicting a mind damage, 4 damaged ribs and different severe accidents. Paltrow acquired up, turned and skied away, leaving Sanderson shocked, mendacity within the snow, critically injured”.

In a case that has lasted years for the reason that 2016 incident, Sanderson is suing Paltrow for $US300,000 ($448,000) — claiming the accident in Park Metropolis was a results of negligence, and left him with bodily accidents and emotional misery.
