Authorities are investigating a doable shark assault off the Pilbara coast, with swimmers warned to take care within the space.
The Division of Major Industries and Regional Growth has confirmed it’s investigating after a report of a “shark chunk incident” at 7.20pm on Wednesday close to Delta Island, west of Karratha.
Folks on the water have been suggested to take additional warning within the Delta Island space and cling to any seashore closures.
