Rio Tinto memo says staff data might have been hacked

Private information of Rio Tinto Ltd’s former and present Australian workers could have been stolen by a cybercriminal group, in response to a employees memo seen by Reuters.

“Knowledge pertains to sure data processed by our payroll providers workforce in January 2023 (corresponding to pay slips and overpayment letters) for a small portion of previous and current workers primarily based in Australia, who obtained these data by put up,” the memo confirmed.
