Queensland car accident: Man dies in fatal highway crash

A 50-year-old man has died in a truck crash on the Previous Bruce Freeway.

Preliminary investigations recommend the tip truck had been touring south when it veered off the street and crashed right into a tree close to Tandur Kybong Highway at Kybong, close to Gympie, at 12.15pm on Tuesday.

The driving force and sole occupant, a 50-year-old Gympie man, turned trapped within the cabin of the automobile.

Paramedics and a rescue helicopter have been tasked to help, however the man sustained vital accidents and died on the scene.
