A girl is useless after being hit by a ute on the NSW south coast.
The 66-year-old was crossing the Princes Freeway within the Wollongong suburb of Fairy Meadow when she was hit about 8.30am on Sunday.
She died on the scene.
The motive force, a 62-year-old man, was taken to Wollongong Hospital for obligatory testing.

NSW Police are asking for witnesses and anybody with dashcam imaginative and prescient to come back ahead to assist their investigation.
