Tesla Model 3 joins Qld Fire and Emergency Services fleet

The Queensland Fireplace and Emergency Providers has added three electrical autos (EVs) to its fleet, together with a Tesla Mannequin 3.

It is a part of a brand new pilot program geared toward decreasing emissions and supporting the state’s zero-emissions car technique.

The electrical autos – one Mannequin 3, and two different unspecified EVs – have been obtained in November final 12 months and are at the moment being trialled to find out if battery-powered autos are a long-term viable possibility for its first responders.

QFES has confirmed they are going to be trialled during their three-year leases.

The autos can be positioned throughout numerous stations, and the character of their use will change relying on the day-to-day wants of QFES personnel.

This is not the primary time our first responders have appeared to electrical autos to fill their fleet.
