Woman seriously injured after being bitten by a dog in Bulleen, in Melbourne’s east

A lady has been left with severe accidents following a canine assault in Melbourne’s east.

Police say the lady, aged in her 60s, was bitten by the canine on the intersection of Manningham Street and Carrathool Road in Bulleen about 5.15pm.

The girl is reported to have suffered severe accidents.

“She has been handled by ambulance paramedics and can be transported to hospital,” the police mentioned in a press release.

“The canine is at present contained in a yard and the police are awaiting council attendance.

“Police will examine whether or not any criminality was concerned.”
