Police called in after Old Firm ref is threatened

Police are investigating after referee Kevin Clancy obtained “threatening and abusive” messages following Celtic’s victory over Rangers, the Scottish Soccer Affiliation has introduced.

Rangers supervisor Michael Beale claimed Clancy had received two main selections incorrect throughout his aspect’s 3-2 defeat on Saturday, which put Ange Postecoglou’s Celtic 12 factors clear within the Premiership.
