A young Queensland child has been taken to hospital in a critical situation after a dog attack on the Gold Coast.
Emergency services were called to a private address in Yatala at 5.20pm on Wednesday, paramedics instructed 7NEWS.

The kid sustained critical head and neck accidents and stays in a critical situation.
They had been transported to Queensland Youngsters’s Hospital — the second canine assault sufferer the Brisbane hospital has seen in days.
“Concerningly, one other younger baby has sustained important accidents from canine bites,” Queensland Ambulance stated.
“A number of paramedic models had been referred to as to a personal handle … and transported a baby to Queensland Youngsters’s Hospital.”
The assault comes two days after six-year-old lady Laquarna Chapman Palmer was mauled on a property in Woodridge.
Laquarna was reportedly on a fence when she was pulled down by the canine and suffered chest and abdominal injuries within the assault.
A relative of Laquarna, who needs to stay nameless, heard his mom screaming and jumped the fence to rescue Laquarna, sustaining leg accidents within the course of.
He instructed 7NEWS Laquarna appeared “lifeless” when he reached her.
“I believed she was useless,” he stated.
“One of many canine was going to assault her face. I threw a chair on the canine.
“I attempted chucking her over the fence, then I ended up getting mauled by the canine.”
Laquarna’s household instructed 7NEWS she was nonetheless in hospital on Tuesday morning and was doing “all proper”.
