Six guards at a maximum-security jail for Perth’s youth have been injured in a large riot, which started after a baby hit an officer with a makeshift weapon and stole her keys.
The juvenile detainees have been being held in Unit 18 youth detention facility inside Casuarina Jail about 4pm Saturday when two kids have been outdoors of their cells for recreation.
