An Australian man is believed to have died whereas strolling the Kokoda Path in Papua New Guinea.
7NEWS understands the 48-year-old man fainted whereas on the observe on Sunday.

Bystanders rushed to the person’s assist and carried out CPR.
He was taken to Port Moresby’s Pacific Worldwide Hospital.
He was pronounced lifeless on Sunday evening.
A Division of International Affairs and Commerce spokesperson instructed 7NEWS.com.au it was “offering consular help to the household of an Australian man who died in Papua New Guinea”.
“We ship our deepest condolences to the household,” they stated.
“Owing to our privateness obligations we’re unable to offer additional remark.”
The jungle path stretches 96km by the Owen Stanley Vary in Papua New Guinea and is the positioning of a major World Struggle II battle between Japanese and Australian forces in 1942.
