A NSW man is dealing with a number of costs after a mechanic servicing his automobile allegedly discovered a hid gun within the automobile.
Police have been referred to as to an auto store in Belconnen, northwest of Canberraafter the mechanic allegedly discovered the hidden firearm in a silver BMW that had been delivered to the store for a service.
“Officers attended the scene and noticed a 3D printed and modified firearm with a plastic grip and metallic barrel,” ACT Police stated.

The gun was seized and police arrested the proprietor of the automobile, a 33-year-old man from Campsie, shortly after.
When the person was arrested police allegedly additionally discovered a .22 caliber hole level spherical of ammunition, about $2500 in money and several other small plastic luggage believed to include a “trafficable quantity” of methamphetamine.
The person was charged with the unauthorized possession of a prohibited firearm, possessing ammunition and trafficking a managed substance.
He’ll seem within the ACT Magistrates Courtroom on Friday.
