A bus driver has been stood down as police examine lollies he allegedly gave to 22 schoolchildren earlier than 15 of them had been taken in poor health to hospital in north Queensland.
The Bluewater State Faculty college students have all been discharged from Townsville College Hospital after struggling nausea, belly ache and lightheadedness on Thursday morning.
It is understood the hospital will present toxicology reviews to the police investigating the lollies, which the bus driver allegedly gave out from sealed packaging throughout his morning run to the college.

The motive force, who works for Sunbus, has spoken with the police and is co-operating with the probe.
