A father has written a scathing open letter to an e-bike rider who allegedly hit and injured an adolescent, dragging him for a number of meters in a paved pedestrian space, earlier than fleeing the scene.

Police have launched CCTV photos of the suspected e-bike rider, who allegedly rode off about 15 minutes after the incident at Darling Sq. – forsaking the bleeding boy and his fuming step-father.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the boy for minor injuries earlier than he was taken to the Sydney Youngsters’s Hospital in Randwick, police advised 7NEWS.com.au.
Police have appealed for any witnesses to the incident which occurred about 9am on Sunday, February 12, at Tumbalong Bvd, to contact them.
“Police have been advised an electrical bike crashed into the rear of a boy who was on foot, earlier than the rider left the scene,” NSW Police stated.
The daddy recalled the moments earlier than the collision which occurred “2m from the doorway to Pancakes on the Rocks” as his smiling son exited a store to satisfy his younger cousins outdoors.
