Former NFL participant Chris Smith has died on the age of 31.
His former college, West Rowan Excessive Faculty in North Carolina, shared the information on Tuesday (AEST), which was confirmed by his supervisor, Drew Rosenhaus.

A reason behind loss of life has not been said.
“Relaxation in Peace to a West Rowan legend!” West Rowan Excessive Faculty’s soccer account wrote.
“Chris was a greater individual than he was a participant! The affect he had on these round him will probably be remembered ceaselessly!”
Smith spent eight seasons within the NFL, throughout which he performed for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, Oakland Raiders and Houston Texans as a defensive finish between 2014 and 2021.
The Cleveland Browns added their voice to the refrain of tributes.
“We’re deeply saddened by the passing of former Browns DE Chris Smith,” the Browns wrote.
“Chris was one of many kindest individuals, teammates and buddies we have had in our group. Our ideas and prayers are along with his household throughout this troublesome time.”
Smith’s loss of life comes simply 4 years after his associate and the mom of his three kids, Petara Cordero, was killed by a passing automotive which hit her as she was exiting his car, which was pulled over due to a puncture.
Cordero was taken to the hospital however died from her accidents.
The youngest of their three kids, Haven, was born simply weeks earlier than Cordero’s loss of life.
