French Island light plane crash leave man with lacerations and leg injury

A light-weight airplane has crashed on an island off the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria.

About 2.20pm on Saturday, the small plane got here down on French Island and seems to have flipped.

One affected person is being flown to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a secure situation.

The person, aged in his 60s, has been handled for lacerations and a leg damage.

French Island is the biggest coastal island of Victoria simply off the Mornington Peninsula and is accessible by boat or ferry.
