A person and a lady have been hospitalized after being injured in a violent house invasion in Sydney’s west.
The dramatic incident occurred about 2.50am on Wednesday at a house on Railway St, Yennora, following experiences of a break-in.
Police have been advised the occupants have been asleep when 4 folks – sporting masks and hooded jumpers – compelled entry to the house and entered the bed room of a 39-year-old man.
They demanded cash earlier than stabbing him within the chest, inflicting a small puncture wound.
Two ladies, aged 52 and 63, heard the disturbance and upon leaving their bedrooms, the youthful lady was struck within the face with a bat.
The older lady locked herself in a room and tried to contact the police when the group kicked within the door and took her cell phone. She was not bodily injured.
The injured man and lady have been handled by paramedics earlier than being taken to hospital, each in a steady situation. He has since been launched whereas she stays underneath statement.
