Authorities have issued a warning after a big bull shark was noticed in water by a busy leisure precinct in Perth’s CBD, only a month after a youngster was fatally attacked within the Swan River.
The three meter predator was sighted by a member of the general public between the fourth and fifth jetty berths at Barrack St, at Elizabeth Quay.
Surf Life Saving WA stated a member of the general public referred to as it at about 12.20pm.

The sighting comes a month after {the teenager} Stella Berry was killed by a shark close to the Fremantle visitors bridge.
Berry, 16, was pulled from the water with important accidents and regardless of the efforts of emergency companies couldn’t be saved.

Simply days later, teen fisher Kai Boyle reeled in a 2.5m bull shark in East Fremantle.
The monster catch pressured authorities to shut river swimming areas in Fremantle, East Fremantle and Mosman Park.
