Lee, Green back in pack in LPGA season starts

World No.three Minjee Lee and fellow Australian star Hannah Inexperienced have work to do to compete as they start their LPGA Tour seasons in Thailand.

Lee shot a good par 72 – matching 4 birdies with 4 bogeys – to be tied 57th after the primary spherical of the Honda LPGA Thailand at Siam Nation Membership whereas Inexperienced had a 70 and was tied 38th.

House favourite Jaravee Boonchant was a part of a five-way tie for the lead on seven beneath 65 alongside Sweden’s Anna Nordqvist, American Jennifer Kupcho, Japan’s Nasa Hataoka and China’s Lin Xiyu.

World No.1 Lydia Ko, who gained the Aramco Saudi Women Worldwide for the second time in three years final week, was three photographs off the tempo after a 68.
