A person has died after being pulled unconscious from the surf on the NSW north coast.
Emergency Providers responded to stories {that a} man was in bother after being struck by a wave whereas swimming at Shelley Seaside, Nambucca Heads, simply after midday on Sunday.
Police say bystanders on the sand bumped into the surf and introduced the 75-year-old man to the seashore.

Paramedics handled the person on the seashore earlier than taking him to Coffs Harbor Hospital, the place he later died.
An investigation has begun and the police will put together a report for the coroner.
