A person has been arrested following a serious manhunt sparked by a loss of life and severe assault at a house in Melbourne’s north.
Shaun Sanderson, 32, was arrested at Preston about 2.40pm on Wednesday.
He’ll now be interviewed by the police.
A big-scale search was launched after a 29-year-old man died and a 65-year-old girl was critically injured at a Reservoir property on Wednesday morning.
Police then issued an alert to search out Mr Sanderson, who was initially believed to be in the home however later confirmed to not be inside.
The Murder Squad is investigating the loss of life and assault.
