Mother and teenage son survive light plane crash off WA coast, swim to shore

A girl and her teenage son have survived a lightweight airplane crash off the WA coast.

The pair have been in a position to escape the partially submerged aircraft and swam to shore after it crashed into the ocean off Leighton Seaside in North Fremantle, police mentioned.
