NRL stars Latrell Mitchell and Jack Wighton have spent the night time behind bars after an alleged incident outdoors a Canberra nightclub on Sunday morning.
ACT Police stated authorities responded to a combat outdoors a membership on Bunda St at 3.45am, later arresting and charging the duo.
Canberra five-eighth Wighton was charged with preventing in a public place and failing to adjust to an exclusion path.
South Sydney fullback Mitchell, 25, was charged with resisting a Territory public official, together with preventing in a public place and failing to adjust to an exclusion path.
It is believed the 2 Kangaroos World Cup stars had been celebrating Wighton’s 30th birthday, having reached that milestone on Saturday.
It’s unclear in the event that they had been allegedly preventing with one another, provided that they’ve been mates for a variety of years.
