Police identify suspected pram thieves after releasing CCTV

Two ladies allegedly caught stealing a pram have been recognized after their footage triggered a stir on social media.

Police allege the 2 ladies walked into Child Bunting in Cannington, Perth, at round 3pm on February 18.

It is alleged the pair then took a brand-new stroller off the shelf and eliminated the tags earlier than inserting their baby within the new pram and strolling out of the shop with it, leaving the outdated one behind.

CCTV reveals the pair strolling calmly out of the shop, with one of many ladies checking her telephone.

Police launched the CCTV photographs in an try to search out the pair.

The pair had been recognized by Monday night, police mentioned.

“Numerous individuals have offered data to Crime Stoppers which has been forwarded to investigators,” the police spokeswoman mentioned.

“If there’s adequate proof to proceed with expenses, they’d most probably be charged with stealing.”

It isn’t but clear if both girl has been charged over the alleged incident.
