The sudden demise of a two-year-old lady in suspicious circumstances in north Queensland is being probed by the police.
Little one safety detectives say the lady was already lifeless when she was dropped at Mackay Base Hospital about 8.30pm on Thursday.
They mentioned an post-mortem could be performed on Friday to find out the reason for her demise.
“Investigations are ongoing and there’s no additional data obtainable right now,” the police mentioned in an announcement on Friday.
