English Championship facet Studying have been handed a six-point deduction with fast impact after admitting to their failure to adjust to funds restrictions.
The English Soccer League (EFL) introduced the punishment for the membership, managed by former England midfielder Paul Ince, on Tuesday.
The second-tier facet had been first handed a six-point deduction in 2021 after admitting to exceeding revenue and sustainability limits.
An additional suspended six-point penalty was to be utilized if the membership failed to meet an agreed marketing strategy.
On Tuesday, the EFL stated Studying had “admitted to the 2 breaches” of that marketing strategy following a evaluation by an impartial panel.
