Teen charged with Perth aged-care resident’s murder

A teenage employee has been charged with homicide after a autopsy confirmed a 70-year-old aged-care resident had been strangled in Western Australia.

Monica Stockdale, a resident on the Baptistcare Bethel Residential Care in Albany, died on November 28.

Jacob Hoysted, a 19-year-old from Orana was taken into custody on Friday following a police investigation. He was charged along with her homicide on Saturday.
