A search is continuous for 2 males who went lacking whereas bushwalking within the NSW Blue Mountains.
The 69 and 81-year-old bushwalkers left Dunphy’s campground within the Megalong Valley on Wednesday, telling a buddy they’d be again on Friday.
Police say the alarm was raised on Sunday when the 69-year-old didn’t preserve an appointment on Sunday and a search started.
The 81-year-old man’s automobile was discovered within the automobile park of Dunphy’s campground.
Searches are persevering with on Monday afternoon, as temperatures within the space soared above 30C.
Officers on the lookout for the pair are believed to have promising leads on the place the bushwalkers could have hiked.
Each males are described as skilled bushwalkers and police imagine the path they meant to take was inside their capabilities.
A command submit has been established at Dunphy’s campground with native police, the rescue squad and SES concerned within the search.
