Two individuals have been killed and 5 injured in a knife attack on a regional prepare within the north Germanyauthorities within the state of Schleswig-Holstein say.
Schleswig-Holstein’s Inside Minister Sabine Sutterlin-Waack and a spokesperson for the federal police within the state confirmed that there had been a knife assault with casualties.
A person attacked passengers with a knife shortly earlier than 3pm on Wednesday native time, earlier than the prepare arrived at Brokstedt station, police mentioned.

Cops arrested the suspected attacker shortly afterwards in Brokstedt.
The motive was not clear.
The railway station was closed off by the police.
Brokstedt is a small neighborhood about 60 kilometers north of Hamburg within the state of Schleswig-Holstein.
