Wanneroo and Swan in Perth’s north on alert after blaze breaks out

The menace to lives and houses after a fireplace sparked in Perth’s north, dangerously near properties, has been downgraded.

Authorities had issued a watch and act alert for Mariginiup, Melaleuca, and Pinjar within the cities of Wanneroo and Swan on Monday afternoon.
