A person has been arrested following the loss of life of a girl within the outer Melbourne suburb of Lilydale.
Police had been known as to a property on John Road about 5.30pm on Saturday in response to a name for help.
The lady, who’s but to be formally recognized, died on the scene.
Murder Squad detectives are investigating, with the loss of life being handled as suspicious.
A 46-year-old Lilydale man is aiding the police with their enquiries.
It’s believed each events had been recognized to one another.
