A younger boy has been transported to hospital after being bitten by a dingo on Car (Fraser Island).
The assault on the five-year-old was reported to emergency providers at about 4.08pm on Sunday.

The boy was bitten on his legs and arms at a campground on the island and was initially handled by an off-duty paramedic.
He was finally transported to Hervey Bay hospital through a rescue helicopter in a steady situation.
