Floods kill 14 in Turkish earthquake-battered provinces

Floods brought on by torrential rains have hit two Turkish provinces that had been devastated by final month’s catastrophic earthquake, killing no less than 14 individuals and growing the distress for hundreds who had been left homeless, officers say.

Inside Minister Suleyman Soylu stated rescue groups had been nonetheless looking for 5 individuals reported lacking in three places after the flash floods turned streets in Adiyaman and Sanliurfa provinces into rivers, swept away automobiles, inundated houses and drenched campsites sheltering earthquake survivors.
