Gold Coast seaplane crash: Emergency response underway as two people crash into water

A seaplane has crashed off the Gold Coast, with emergency providers at the moment on scene.

The crash occurred within the Jumpinpin channel between North Stradbroke Island and South Stradbroke Island.

The aircraft has landed the wrong way up within the water, however emergency providers report that nobody was injured within the incident.

Two passengers had been on board the plane because it took off however obtained to security with out help.

Paramedics had been referred to as to the scene by a 3rd occasion, however stood down whereas en route.

The seaplane has since been towed out of the water.
