Horror as man allegedly abducts seven-year-old West Australian boy

Police have arrested a person who allegedly snatched a younger boy and tried to abduct one other youngster from their dwelling in Western Australia’s Wheatbelt area.

The 34-year-old man, who isn’t believed to be identified to the boys, is alleged to have entered a house in Moora, 177km north of Perth, about 4am on Friday.

It is alleged he took a seven-year-old boy from the house earlier than returning and making an attempt to abduct one other boy aged 12, dragging him out of the home.

Police say the older boy broke free and ran again into the house to alert an grownup who notified authorities.

Police searched the realm and located the seven-year-old boy at a close-by dwelling simply after 7am.

The Moora man was arrested and is helping the police with inquiries.

Police stated each boys have been taken to hospital for routine medical checks.
