Former ultra-Orthodox Jewish principal Malka Leifer has been discovered responsible of the indecent assault and rape of a former scholar.
Late on Monday afternoon, jurors revealed that they had discovered Leifer responsible of costs of sexual abuse towards Dassi Erlich, after handing down 5 not responsible verdicts in respect of costs towards Ms Erlich’s sister Nicole Meyer.
The 56-year-old mom of eight, has stood trial within the Victorian County Court docket.
She’s accused of sexually abusing Melbourne sisters Ms Meyer, Ms Erlich and a 3rd sister, Elly Sapper, on the Adass Israel College in Melbourne’s jap suburbs between 2003 and 2007.
Leifer pleaded not responsible to 27 costs, together with 10 every of rape and indecent assault.

Prosecutor Justin Lewis argued that Leifer had a bent to have a sexual curiosity in ladies after they had been teenage college students on the college and when those self same ladies had been scholar academics.
Mr Lewis stated the tendency was to have interaction in sexual actions with them and to make the most of their vulnerability, ignorance in sexual issues and her place of authority so as to take action.
Her barrister, Ian Hill KC, argued the prolonged delay between the alleged offending and the trial, which started in February, was a drawback to the protection and to jurors.
He attacked the credibility of the sisters, together with accusing certainly one of telling “blatant lies” in her proof.
