Perth pilot walks away uninjured after landing scare at Jandakot Airport

A pilot has escaped unhurt after a dramatic crash touchdown at Jandakot Airport on Tuesday.

Emergency crews had been fast to answer the incident however weren’t wanted after the 74-year-old pilot walked away from the amateur-built light aircraft unscathed.

It’s understood a failure within the entrance wheel prompted the nostril of the airplane to tip ahead throughout the touchdown.
