Qantas has issued a mayday alert for a flight sure for Sydney from Auckland on Wednesday afternoon.
NSW Ambulance stated it was responding to the alert for flight QF144 from Auckland, as a result of reported engine failure.
The flight is due in at Sydney Airport at 3.22pm.
It was delayed at Auckland airport by 36 minutes.
